SunPower completes acquisition of SunRay
SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) -- Solar-panel maker SunPower Corp. said Monday it completed its acquisition of SunRay Renewable Energy, a solar power plant developer with offices in Europe and the Middle East.
SunPower paid $263 million in cash and $14 million in promissory notes in the deal, which was announced in February.
As a result of the deal, SunPower expanded its project pipeline to include more than 1,200 megawatts of solar photovoltaic projects in different stages of development across Europe.
Shares rose 55 cents, or 3 percent, to $18.77 during morning trading. The stock has traded between $17.82 and $34 during the past year.

This position will be responsible for defining and implementing the customer strategy for large commercial and utility scale electrical equipment worldwide. You will work closely with sales, R&D, product marketing and other product managers to ensure industry leading electrical equipment systems and solutions for customers. These customers range from commercial system owners to independent power producers and investor owned utilities. You will both monitor and influence industry trends in inverters, plant control, and grid integration equipment. 4190 - Government Contracts Program Manager - San Jose, CA
The role of Government Contracts Program Manager is to ensure the successful execution of Government contracts (state or federal) awarded to SunPower. This encompasses overseeing execution, scheduling and reporting of all milestones/deliverables. This requires interfacing to internal development groups as well as external subcontractors. This position will be the primary interface to the Government agencies. The responsibility also includes identifying Government funding opportunities and responding to RFPs with goal of winning awards. This is a matrix management position within the Project Management Office of SunPower and relies heavily on the independence and communication ability of the individual who fills the position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Oversight of Execution of awarded contracts includes the following:
o Represent SunPower as primary contact in dealings with contract agencies
o Conduct monthly teleconferences with the contracting agency and technical team monitoring the program.

The ERP Integration Architecture Manager will be responsible for architecting, implementing and managing the integration strategy between Oracle R12 eBusiness and various enterprise applications using SOA, and leading multiple projects from initiation to implementation in the Oracle R12 eBusiness applications area.
Focus areas include:
- Working closely with business executives to assure proper business stakeholder participation, sponsorship and engagement
